Best Day Ever

Hello crafty friends!
This is my first post of the new year so Happy New Year! I wish you all a very blessed 2025.
The card I am sharing with you today once again features the Stardream Metallic cardstock. If you have followed any of my posts lately you will see I have fallen in love with this cardstock. It really is dreamy. I added a close up photo shown below, so you can see the shine. The dark green and kraft are regular cardstock and the rest is the Stardream Metallic.

To make this card, I started with a top folding Neenah Classic Crest solar white card base that was percut and scored by CutCardStock. I used a panel of Neenah Desert Storm for the front. I ran it through the die cutting machine using a piercing die. This die pierced the paper with a design to follow for placement of the florals. Because I didn’t use the entire part that was pierced you can see how it looked before I added all the elements.

This would make a gorgeous wedding card so I added a sentiment for a wedding card, however it could work for other occasions as well. The colors of Stardream I used are Azalea (large flower), Rose Quartz (smaller flower), Eris (white flower, Aquamarine (berries). Oh and I used Fairway for the green stems, for the most part this card is mostly metallic and shiny. I did however, use Lessebo Hunter Green for the leaves and stems of the berries.
To finish the card I added a sentiment from a different set that I fussy cut out and popped up. I had to substitute the center of the large flower with one from a different set because I lost the one that goes with it.
