Tri-Fold Congratulations Card

Hey everybody! Happy Wednesday – I hope you’re having a great week! Do you love trying new fun folds or are you a standard A2 size card maker?! I’m a fun fold fanatic as you may have already noticed, lol! Leslie here, sharing a super easy tri-fold congratulations card featuring our Basis 80# White, Basis 80# White 12×12, Royal Sundance Linen Eclipse Black, and Silk Glitter Black Prince 12×12 cardstock. I absolutely love a black and white color combo! And I used an older die set in my stash for the decorative panels but any shape can be used.

Cut Card Base & Layers

Cut the tri-fold card base from Basis 80# White 12×12. This piece should measure 4-1/2″ x 12″, scored at 4″ and 8″ on the long side.

Cut three layering panels measuring 4-3/8″ x 3-7/8″ from Royal Sundance Linen Eclipse Black.

Die cut three decorative panels of desired shape from Basis 80# White. Die cut three slightly smaller decorative panels from choice of patterned papers.

Cut signature panel for back measuring 3-1/2″ x 2″ from Basis 80# White. Cut slightly larger rectangle measuring 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″ from patterned paper.

Punch Flowers

Using a basic flower punch, punch an assortment of flowers in various sizes from Silk Glitter Black Prince 12×12 cardstock, and add a black enamel dot to the center of each.

Adhere Layers

Adhere the black layering panels to the card base. Assemble the decorative panels and the signature panel for the back.

Attach Panels

Attach the decorative panels to the card base, using a ruler to ensure the length of the card doesn’t exceed 6″. Adhere the signature panel to the back.

Adhere Flowers

Affix the flowers to the panels and decorative panels.

Complete Project

Stamp three sentiments in black ink, cut with coordinating dies, and adhere one to each panel. This will complete the card.
