Pencil Treat Boxes

It’s Back to School time and I’ve made some super cute pencil treat boxes to celebrate! There are many SVG files you can find for pencil boxes so take your pick. I found mine from Bearly Art and it was free!

For these boxes, pull out your typical No. 2 pencil colors or be adventurous and create a rainbow of colored pencils. I used Pop Tone Black Licorice, Cotton Candy, Textured Yellow Jacket and Natural cardstock since I stuck with the typical No. 2 pencil color scheme.

There are lots of score lines with this treat box so be sure to use your bone folder to re-enforce those folds! The nice thing about using the Cricut is they include score lines as well as the cut lines so everything fits well together.

Tying some metallic silver ribbon around the pencils between the pink eraser and the yellow pencil adds a realistic touch to these boxes as well!

Aren’t these so fun! I can’t wait to fill these with some goodies and hand them out to my coworkers.

Each pencil is approximately 6″ tall but you can easily adjust the size in Cricut Design Space before you cut all the pieces. Be sure that all elements are grouped together so each piece adjusts appropriately.

You can even add names or the standard No. 2 to the pencil as well. I kept mine simple, but it wouldn’t take much to add to them.
