Hello friends, it’s Teri here presenting these lovely floral cards for CutCardStock with just the right amount of glitter accents to make them sparkle and shine!
Love, love love all the sparkly goodness in these two cards. The same debossing die is used in the background of both cards. Differing arrangements change to look!
So many layers to explore! The base is Pink Quartz Curious Metallic Cardstock, debossed with Simon Says Stamps Detail Petal Plate Die. Loving the subtle shimmer from the cardstock base!
Altenew’s Lily Layering Die set provides the gorgeous floral focal point. The Gold Glitter Cardstock provides just the perfect glitter accents to make this card really shine. DCS Wild Salmon followed by a layer of Basis Coral Cardstock create the floral base. Pop-tone Black Licorice Cardstock and a dark gray from my stash, top of the flowers. Even the leaves are sparkly. POW Glitter Paper colored with Copics is perfect!
Putting it all Together
Check out all the glitter accents! First step was to attach a 1/4 inch glitter accent strip to the left side of the A2base. The final piece for the base is the Curious Metallic Debossed piece plus another glitter accent strip.
An arrangement of three flowers and glitter leaves in the top center of the card provides a glittery focal point. Altenew’s Fancy Hello Die cut from Gold Glitter Cardstock provides the perfect accent!
There was one lily and leaves left that couldn’t be left behind! The base is exactly the same as the first card. Why mess with a great design?
Altenew’s Mid Century Die is perfect when cut from glitter cardstock. Check out the dainty glitter accent it provides! Add this accent piece plus the lilly flower to the center of the card. Finally, another Hello sentiment die cut complete the card!
Check out all those sparkly glitter accents! I hope you enjoyed seeing how a tiny amount of glitter adds pizazz to a card. Be sure to check out all the great products at CutCardStock. They have a fantastic variety from Glitter to Colored Cardstock!
