Fun Puzzles for Kids
I have several great nieces and nephews that live out of state and I enjoy making little gifts to send to them via “Happy Mail”. It’s always fun to be the recipient of such mail and especially for a child, to find an envelope in the post with their name on it.

Today’s project for kids, are these fun little heart shaped puzzles that they can put together and color themselves.
Here’s a peek at the products I used today:

I started by stamping the dragon scenes onto 110# Classic Crest, Neenah Solar White card stock.

I then cut the stamped images using a heart puzzle die. The 110# card stock is perfect for creating puzzles, as the heavier weight helps the pieces stay together better than a light weight card stock.

I also stamped the same images onto 80# Classic Crest Neenah Solar White card stock and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I then colored the images and glued the arrangement together using Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

Each puzzle has a coordinating topper. To make the bag topper, I cut 80# DCS Discount Cardstock Light Teal using a label die, which was scored in half. the colored die scene was then attached to the folded label using the liquid glue.

Here’s a close up of each bag topper. I inserted the puzzle pieces into the plastic baggies and attached the toppers using Score-Tape Premium Double Sided Tape.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and are inspired to make a snow globe candle of your own. Be sure to visit the Cut Cardstock store to see all the amazing products they have, for all your printing and crafting needs. You can also follow them on Instagram and facebook!
