Create a Unique and Stunning Handbag Gift Holder!

Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here, and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! Who needs gift holders stashed away for either planned or last-minute gifts?! The fun project I’m sharing with you today features Glitter cardstock (which happens to be on sale this month so be sure to get some!) along with Classic Linen and Pop-Tone cardstock! This weekender handbag would be perfect to tuck in a gift card, cash, chocolates or maybe some jewelry! And, as an extra-added bonus, it comes with a pair of matching sunglasses!

* Cut the purse body pieces from Neenah Classic Linen Gold Pearl 84# cardstock, and the purse accent pieces and sunglasses pieces from CCS Gold Glitter 74# cardstock. Cut the sunglasses lenses and another set of sunglasses pieces from Pop-Tone Hot Fudge 65# cardstock for added stability.

* Assemble the sunglasses first because they are so stinkin’ cute! Adhere the gold glitter cardstock to the brown cardstock, sandwiching the lenses between the open eye pieces.
* Assemble the purse with the gold glitter accents. Add half of a Velcro circle as the closure under the center flap. Add small ivory enamel dots to the accent pieces just above the rings.

And here’s the completed set…
