Fall Pansies

Hello everyone. It’s Ceal, here.

Today I am sharing a card using some of our colored cardstock along with Neenah Classic Crest Solar White. I started out by die cutting all the parts of the pansies in Neenah White. For two of them I also cut out parts in colored cardstock Amethyst, Plum Purple and Sunflower and also ink blended parts of the pansy using distress inks.

I cut the pieces of the flower above out of Amethyst, Plum and Sunflower. On the Amethyst parts I ink blended some Fossilized Amber in the center and Wilted Violet on the edges. The top pansy I ink blended one of the pieces with Seedless Preserves.

For this one I cut all the pieces out of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White. I ink blended them using Fossilized Amber, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, and Villainous Potion.

After I got all the flowers glued together I arranged them on a glass mat the way I would want them on the card and then picked them up with a piece of Press and Seal.

For the background I used a waffle Flower cover plate cut out of Neenah Solar White because it needed background texture. Before I placed the pansies down I added some leaves and popped up the pansies.

In order to finish the card, I added a hello greeting cut out of Stardream Metallic cardstock. I added a white backer and popped it on one of the pansies.

I love pansies in my flower beds particularly in the fall to give it some color along with the mums. Because of the flooding we had to redo our flower beds and that is what inspired this card. The pansy die is from Honey Bee Stamps and the hello is from Altenew.

Thanks for Stopping by!
