Floral Wreath
Hello! I am a sucker for all things pink and for my first project this month I’m sharing a pretty Spring wreath.

I used several different colors and types of card stocks to create this project.

The leaves were cut from Basis Card Stock Olive; large florals from Pop-Tone Card Stock Cotton Candy and Classic Crest Card Stock Petwer for the centers; the medium flowers Pop-Tone Card Stock Grapesicle and Basis Card Stock Magenta; smallest flowers with Classic Crest Card Stock Bright White; the base uses Classic Crest Card Stock Baronial Ivory.
Cut all pieces using electronic cutting machine. This cut file is from the Silhouette Store (design ID 297432).

Fold all leaves in half, add some paint mist to a small handful.
Add paint spray to grey floral centers. Let dry and then add a white dot to each center with dimension paint.

Glue floral pieces together. Once dry, carefully and gently smoosh downward to create a flatter bottom. This will make it easier to adhere. The cardstock is very forgiving so don’t worry about pushing downward as long as you don’t apply too much force.

Once all are smooshed, then trip excess edge overlap.
The base is larger than the 8.5×11 cardstock and I wanted to make it 12×12 so I cut it in three pieces which I then adhered and trimmed to create one circle. I numbered them and placed and arrow directionally so it would be easier to assemble.

To create the wreath start with large flowers and when they are in desired locations adhere to base. Adhere a few leaves to fill. Add in the medium sized flowers as desired and then adhere. Use leaves to fill all empty areas and create a fullness.
Allow to sit and dry overnight. Add center pieces to large florals. The medium sized florals have wooden buttons inside which were adhered. Scatter small white flowers forvisual interest. Once everything is dried, fill in the centers of the wooden buttons with pink dimensional paint as well as the center of the white florals. Allow to dry. Your wreath is now complete.

The color possibilites for this wreath are endless and there are so many fabulous colors of card stock available in the CutCardStock store. Check it out and stock up on your favorites!
