Are you ready for the snow?

November is one of my favorite months! Even though the weather where I live isn’t exactly ideal, I love the cozy, festive feeling in the air. There’s just something special about this time of year that makes everything feel a little warmer.

Hi, it’s Natalie! Today, I’m sharing a card that turned out so fun. You can use the main design as tags or feature it on a card, like I’ve done here. They’re also shaker cards—something I usually find a bit tricky, but I’m really happy with how these turned out!

lets take a look at my card

The colors I chose for my project today include:

Lessebo Navy Blue

Lessebo Dawn Maroon

Lessebo Hunter Green

Stardream Metallic White

Putting it together

  • First, use your largest circle die and cut one background circle and one clear circle. You can use acetate or even some clear wrap from packaging.
  • Next we are going to take our largest circle die and the next size down. This will make the frame. I find cutting several circle frames out of cardstock is easier for me. You could also just use foam tape on one circle frame
  • While you’re die cutting, cut out the images you want on the front of the circle. I chose these adorable snowmen.
  • Glue your circle layers together, with the acetate circle adhered to the bottom of the top circle.
  • When your circles are adhered together and in the correct position, use tear tape. Add the tape to the bottom circle.
  • Now it’s time to add your fun shaky bits.
  • Carefully remove the backing from the tape, then attach the full back circle to your card
  • When circle is complete decorate the front as desired.

As you can see by my main photo, I used one circle on a card and have two for tags.

Thanks for visiting the CutCardStock blog today, and I hope your November is a great one!
