Spooky Halloween Card Created with Spray Starch

Did you know you can create backgrounds for cards with spray starch? Karen here today and I show you how it is done along with Perfect Pearls for this Spooky Halloween Card.

Plus, I show you how to add a fun spiral pop up to the inside!

CutCardStock Products Used

Stardream Metallic FAIRWAY (green) 105lb 8.5 x 11 Card Stock

Stardream Metallic ONYX (Black) 105lb Cardstock

Halloween 6×6 Card Stock pad – Assortment – 36 sheets

Other Supplies

Spray Starch

Perfect Pearls Pigment Powders

Fluffy Paint Brush

Spiral Pop Up Die

Acetate

Various Halloween Themed Die Cuts

Card Front

Create a top folding A2 card with the Stardream Metallic FAIRWAY (green) 105lb 8.5 x 11 Card Stock.

Spray a generous amount of the spray starch onto a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of Stardream Metallic ONYX (Black) 105lb Cardstock.

Dab various colors of Perfect Pearls onto the spray starch covered cardstock panel.

Die cut “spooky eyes” into the panel.

Add a “Boo” sentiment die cut out of a paper from the Halloween 6×6 Card Stock pad .

Inside of Card

Adhere panels of pattern paper.

Die cut an acetate spiral. Adhere.

Add various Halloween die cuts to spiral.
