Hello friends! It’s Teri from TerisMailbox posting these fun layered die cut floral cards using Pop-Tone Cardstock from CutCardStock!

I love playing with layers and textures! Watch this video and see both cards come together.

Step 1: Die Cut the Floral Layer Pieces

Once you have die cut and assembled the floral pieces using a variety of Pop-Tone Cardstock, you can play with floral arrangements and create multiple cards at once. The Pop-Tone CardStock used for these include: Grape Jelly, Grapesicle, Hot Fudge, Black Licorice, and Basis Olive, and Gold. This is the Honey Bee Stamp Lovely Layers Anemone Die Set.

Step 2: Design the Card Base

Trim a piece of Cougar 80 lb. White Cardstock to 3.75 x 5.0 inches. Die cut this plus a piece of Fun Foam to pop up the background using a circle die. Be sure to cut them at the same time so they match up. After cutting the circle, run the Cougar piece through an Embossing Folder. This is the Altenew Organic Linen Embossing Folder.

Attach the fun foam to the back of the textured piece using Double Sided Tape. Center the textured piece on an A2 cardbase.

Step 3: Complete the Card

It is time to arrange the layered die cut flower and leaves on the center of the open circle using Foam Tape to pop up the flower. Use white glue to attach the leaves and buds to the textured piece.

Select a sentiment, die cut a tag, add some ribbon and your card is done!

Create a Mini Slimline Card too!

Cut a piece of Cougar 80 lb. White Cardstock to 7 x 6.25 and score on the middle Portrait Style. Make your own stencil by die cutting an oval in another piece of cardstock 3.5 x 6.25 inches. Line this piece up over the cardstock base and ink blend with a coordinating color. I used Dusty Concord to go with the purple flowers.

Design the Card

Arrange two blooms and the leaves on the card front to the left of the inked oval.

Add the Finishing Touches

Using the same Distress ink color, smoosh some on your craft mat, add water and flick droplets on the card front.

Select your sentiment and use foam tape to pop it up on the card front! I love using pops of holographic cardstock to really pop the sentiment.
