Golden Gate Bridge

Sometimes just a few embellishments are all you need to showcase your photos. I believe that’s the case for this layout. I’ve been to San Francisco many times in my life but never walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. This was so cool and I took some great photos!

When it was time to scrapbook them, I didn’t want to take away from the photos so I designed a simple layout using Cricut Design Space.

Once the design was created, I cut the bridge & title. The squares and rectangles are for visual effect only and I don’t cut them using my Cricut. Both the title and bridge were cut using Pop Tone Wild Cherry and Whipped Cream.

The Pop Tone Assortment Pack had a variety of reds, but I liked the Wild Cherry hue best for this layout. It’s a beautiful bright red!

Once I put all the pieces together, I punched a “wave-like” border on a piece of Whipped Cream Cardstock and added a little fun generational stamping.

I love the map background patterned paper but don’t look too closely…it’s actually a map of New York! LOL

I matted both photos of the bridge with Wedding Cake Cardstock so they would stand out on the page. I love that the photos are the main focus of this layout. I hope you agree.

So as the song suggests, if you’re going to San Francisco be sure to wear some flowers in your hair but also take time to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge.
