Alcohol Ink on Glitter Cardstock!
Hey everybody! Happy Monday – I hope you had a great weekend! Have you ever tried dropping alcohol ink on glitter cardstock? I have never tried it and I honestly don’t know why – it’s absolutely beautiful! Leslie here, sharing a pretty Christmas card featuring our Silk Glitter Opulent Opal cardstock. I also used Pop Tone Wild Cherry, Pop Tone Lemon Drop, Mantis Green and Kale Green which rounded out the traditional Christmas colors!

Create Focal Element
Cut two pieces of Silk Glitter Opulent Opal cardstock and drop Watermelon, Poppyfield and Cranberry alcohol inks onto one of them, and Citrus, Lettuce and Botanical alcohol inks onto the other one.
While the inked cardstock is drying, die cut some of the floral pieces from Pop Tone Wild Cherry and Pop Tone Lemon Drop. Similarly, die cut the berries from Silk Glitter Opulent Opal and the leaf pieces from Mantis Green and Kale Green. Once the glitter pieces are dry, die cut the main floral piece from the red one and the main leaf piece from the green one.
Assemble the floral spray.

Cut Card Base & Layers
Cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock.
Next, cut front and inside layering panels and an inside embellishing strip from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock.
Finally, cut an inside layering panel from Kale Green and an inside embellishing strip from Mantis Green.

Emboss Panel & Strip
Dry emboss the white front layering panel and the inside light green embellishing strip with your choice of embossing folder.

Adhere Layers
Adhere the white embossed panel to the card base.
For the inside panel, adhere the light green embossed strip to the Solar White layering panel. Then adhere the panel to the dark green cardstock layer.

Add Focal Image
Use foam strips and liquid glue to adhere the focal image to the card front.

Add Stamping
Stamp the front sentiment in dark green ink on Solar White cardstock and cut it with a stitched rectangle die.
Stamp the inside sentiment in dark green ink on the layered panel.

Complete Project
Add clear gemstones to the card front.
Adhere the inside panel to the inside of the card base to complete the project.
