The holiday season is the perfect time for crafting cards that bring joy and warmth, and this gingerbread pop-up card does just that! Featuring a delightful gingerbread house design with a surprise interactive element, this card is sure to spread cheer.

Supplies Used:
-Card stock in the following colors: Taupe, Coffee Bean, Amaranth, Strawberry Cream, Surf, and Stardream Crystal
-Lovely Layers Alice’s Gingerbread Village dies set and What’s Cooking stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps
-Pop Up Feature die set from Dare2BArtzy
-GinaK Kraft ink
-Ranger Glossy Accents and liquid adhesive

Card Design Details:
The front of the card showcases a whimsical gingerbread house complete with frosting covered roof details. The blue textured card stock creates a frosty scene that frames the house beautifully. When you pull the tab at the top, the house slides up to reveal a heartfelt sentiment. This simple, interactive feature adds a delightful element of surprise to the design.
Start by die cutting all of the elements for the gingerbread house. Carefully adhere all of the pieces together. Next, using the instructions on the Pop Up Feature die set, die cut and precisely adhere it together making sure to align the sliding mechanism. Add the patterned paper elements to the card. Before adhering the gingerbread house to the base, you will need to stamp the sentiment. Now the gingerbread house can be adhered. Only put adhesive on the lower half of the house, so the pop up feature will work. Once that is done, it can be adhered to a top folding A2 card base.

This card is a fun and creative way to celebrate the season, and the pop up feature adds an extra special touch. Whether you are an experienced card maker or new to interactive designs, this project is sure to inspire!
