It’s A Love Bus Box Card!
Hey everybody, happy Wednesday! It’s the first week of September already and I have to ask just where has this year gone?! It’s crazy how fast the time is flying by! Leslie here with you today, sharing a tutorial for making a super cute box card. I used a love bus box card SVG cut file along with my Cricut and quite a variety of our cardstock. Us Baby Boomers all have a lil’ hippie in us and this turned out so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it! What a fun way to say hello to a friend!

Cut Card Base, Insert Panels & Layers
First, I cut the card base and inserts from Cougar White 12×12 cardstock. Next, I used Basis Coral, Pop Tone Tangy Orange, Pop Tone Blue Raspberry, Poodle Skirt Pink, Cougar White, and Pink Tutu for the flowers. Also used Basis Coral for the LOVE word outlines on the inserts but unfortunately it’s no longer in stock. There are other coral cardstock options that could be used instead.
Additionally, I used Wild Salmon for the bus side panels and two flowers, and Poodle Skirt Pink for the LOVE word. Then I used Lava Stone Gray and Cougar White for the head lights, Pop Tone Red Hot for the tail lights, and Jet Stream Blue for the windows. And finally, I used Pop Tone Black Licorice, Lava Stone Gray and Cougar White for the wheels, along with Wild Salmon and Cougar White for the signature panel on the back.

Adhere Layers To Card Base
I always say the assembly is the most fun, and I totally enjoyed putting this box card together. The appropriate pieces were therefore adhered to the front and back card base panels.

Assemble Insert Panels
Additionally, adhere the appropriate pieces to the three insert panels.

Assemble Box Card
Finally, adhere the inserts to the front and back card base panels.

Complete Project
As with all box cards, this folds flat for mailing, so the final step to complete the project is to cut an envelope from patterned paper.

Summing up, these are the other products I used:
CARDSTOCK/PAPER: Simple Stories Wood & Gingham Basics 12×12 paper pad
STAMPS: Keep It Simple Bizzy Hands Designs Peace Gnomie stamp set
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends- FS6/7/8

ACCESSORIES: Cricut Explore Air 2, My Sweet Petunia Precision Glue Press, Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive, MISTI stamp tool, Stampin’ Up Mini Dimensionals; Scrapbook.com Double-Sided Adhesive Roll and Me & My Big Ideas dotted washi tape (envelope)
