Create a Lush, Fall Floral Card

Welcome back! Mary here today, and I am excited to share a new card design featuring vibrant card stock from Cut Card Stock. This card is all about layering and texture, bringing these intricate floral elements to life with rich, deep colors.

Here are the supplies you will need:

~Card stock in the following colors: Hunter Green, Dawn Maroon, Galax, Granny Smith, Flamingo, Rubber Ducky, Cherry , Plum and Cougar White

~Concord and 9th Primrose Garden die set and Banner Builder stamps and dies

~Liquid glue

~Clear Glaze pen

Step-by-step Process:

Die Cutting the Elements: I began by selecting a rich palette of card stock. Using the Primrose Garden die set, I cut out the various floral elements in multiple colors. The large, vibrant red flowers really pop against the deep green foliage. I also cut a rectangle out of white card stock (4″ x 3 1/2″, score 1/2″ on the 4″side) to make the card back and a banner for the sentiment.

Adhering the Pieces: Using the largest die cut for guidance, I layered the smaller blooms and foliage in the corners. The smaller leaves and berries add to the garden-like effect. I adhered the pieces together with liquid glue which allowed me some wiggle room while creating the flowers. Once everything was layered, I arranged the die cuts into a gorgeous bouquet. The largest flowers and sentiment banner were then added. To make this card extra special, I used a clear Glaze pen on the centers of the tiny, red flowers. In addition, I adhered the white rectangle to the back to complete the card and form and easel.

This floral card was so fun to create, and the high quality card stock from Cut Card Stock paired perfectly with the Primrose Garden die set.

The rich color and layered design make this the perfect card for any occasion and it’s sure to stand out on any mantel!
