Stitched Hello Card
Welcome back! Mary here today sharing an all-occasion card.

I really wanted this card to look like someone was getting ready to stitch a floral pattern. This die set is from the April Spellbinders Small Kit of Month and it is so great! I am a cross stitcher, as well as a card maker, so these dies were perfect for me.
Step 1: Gather Supplies
To create this card, you will need the following supplies:
~Die cutting machine
~Spellbinders “One Stitch at a Time” die set
~Card stock from Cut Card Stock: Indigo, Blue Hydrangea, Amaranth, Strawberry Cream, Bonsai, Granny Smith, Black Licorice, Gold Glitter, and Sand Castle. (Of course, you can choose your favorite colors to make your thread or floss skeins and Cut Card Stock has so many beautiful options!)

~Detail Tweezers
Step 2: Die Cutting
To begin, I cut a 4 x 5.25″ rectangle using a deckle edge die. I like the uneven edge, but you could also cut a rectangle at this size if you wanted a cleaner look.
Next, I ran the rectangle piece through my die cutting machine using the Concord and 9th Stitched Vines die. I love the subtle stitching it creates!
Now it’s time for the fun – creating the colorful embroidery floss skeins. I started by cutting the base with the darker card stock, then I used the lighter color for the detail threads that go on top of the base. For example, I die cut the base out of Bonsai card stock and then cut the detail threads out of Granny Smith card stock. The labels for the floss were made with Black Licorice and Gold Glitter card stock.
Then, I die cut the stitched “Hello” twice out of Black Licorice card stock.
Step 3: Adhering
For glueing intricate pieces, I prefer a liquid glue and tweezers. I used Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose liquid glue to adhere all of my pieces.
To begin, I adhered the stitched background to an A2 card base. Additionally, I glued all of the separate embroidery floss pieces together according to color and then added the cute label details to them. The labels really make these look like floss skeins!
Next, I adhered the two “Hello” die cuts together.

Step 4: Finish Card
Once the skeins were arranged, I decided where the sentiment would go, and adhered it to the card panel. The pink skein was glued and then the blue, both with liquid glue. Before adding the green skein, I added small, foam adhesive squares to the end of the skein, since it was laying on top of the other two skeins and to add dimension.

And that completes the card. I love how this colorful card turned out!
