Floral Gift Card Holder

Why just give a plain gift card when you can create something colorful and beautiful as this floral gift card holder? This gift card holder used 12 different colored cardstocks and is perfect for using scraps. Check the bottom of the post for a list of all the colors!

After cutting all the pieces, I like to put them together before adding adhesive to them. This will avoid wayward adhesive – believe me, this is a good tip! This also helps to determine which piece will have foam adhesive and which will be flat – if that’s something you’re considering.

Before adhering all the flowers down, add any enhancements like inking, white pen highlights and/or clear glitter marker on the flowers and leaves. This adds so much dimension to the already pretty card. As you can tell from the finished card, I also tied twine around the vase top & added a sentiment.

Cougar Smooth White cardstock was used to stamp a sentiment and Jet Stream for the sentiment mat.

Here’s a view of the card pullout and where you’d put the gift card.

What a beautiful way to give a gift card, don’t you agree?

Colored Cardstock Used: Cougar Smooth White, Orange Fizz, Banana Split, Yellow Jacket, Limeade, Bay Leaf, Blue Raspberry, Grapesicle, Grape Jelly, Razzleberry, Jet Stream and Carnation Pink.
