Mixed Media Love

Hello crafty friends,

It’s Ceal, here. Today I am sharing a mixed media valentine card. I have a valentines series going on my blog and this card is for day 11.

To make this card I started with a white pre cut and scored card base and a watercolor panel. I created a background on the watercolor panel with the smooshing technique with distress inks. After I achieved a look I was happy with I cut the heart die out of Stardream Metallic Gold cardstock and adhered it to the panel. Next I cut the love die out of Cherry Red cardstock three times for dimension and adhered it to the panel. To finish the card, I stampd the word “you” and added a few stray hearts.
