Happy Birthday Puppy
Are you someone who constantly pins/bookmarks or saves projects to make “one day”? Yup, so am I. In fact, I bookmarked this cute puppy pop out card on Cricut Design Space (designed by Sue Maraval) a while ago and finally decided to make it. It was so easy to create especially when someone else designed it and added directions within the canvas.

I used Vanilla Bean Brown cardstock for the puppy, Wild Salmon for the card background and scraps of Black Licorice, Cougar Smooth White and Pepper Red cardstocks for the rest of the pieces. Wild Salmon is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors available at CutCardStock. It’s so pretty.
The ears are folded down when placing the card in the envelope (this is a standard A2 card) but when you pull the tongue…magic!

My Cricut machine does not have the writing function, so I used a white gel pen to write “Happy Birthday” inside the ears and “pull” on the tongue. You could certainly use stamps if you feel more comfortable and use any greeting you want.
This was my first attempt at this cute card and I plan on making more. I may try using non-traditional fur colors to make fun and funky puppies. Isn’t this card so fun!?!

Not that you need it, but I’m giving you permission to actually make your pinned/bookmarked/saved projects. Go ahead…Go For It!
