Pop-up Christmas Card – Puppy!
Christmas is so close, but I still have some last minute cards and gifts I need to make! I used several different types of cardstock from Cut Cardstock on this project and I love how it turned out!

I started with a cut file on my Silhouette Studio program – these 3D projects can sometimes be overwhelming when you first open them – look at all those pieces! I love when they pre-color the different pieces so you can get an idea of what colors you need.

The first thing I do is “Ungroup” the pieces so I can move them around. I like to put all the pieces of the same color together and cut those all at once. Another time saving tip is to cut some of the smaller pieces out of white cardstock and then color them after they are cut.

After I cut out the small pieces on the white cardstock, I leave it on the cutting mat in its place while I color. This helps keep them in place while blending or coloring but also keeps them grouped so I can remember what piece is what. I used the Cougar 80# Super Smooth cardstock for this – I LOVE the way it blends, it is so smooth!

For these panel pieces, I used the Stardream Metallic Lagoon cardstock and then embossed them with white sparkle snowflakes.

I used a combination of Lessebo, metallic and glitter cardstocks for this project!
Santa hat – Red Glitter Heavyweight
Snowbanks – White Glitter Heavyweight
Dog ears and tail – Stardream Metallic Saturn
Card base – Lessebo Cherry Red
Dog mouth/nose – Lessebo Pitch Black

I hope you enjoyed this project today and Happy Holidays!
