How To Create An Elegant Floral Friendship Card

Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here, and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! What do you typically navigate toward when creating cards? I absolutely love florals – and when you add elegance to a project with a little shimmer, you have my attention! The card I’m sharing with you today features gorgeous Curious Metallic cardstock (which is on sale this month so be sure to stock up!) along with Classic Crest which is a staple in my studio!

*Cut a 5″ square top-folding card base from Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock, and a pierced ornate die cut for the inside and a scrap to stamp a sentiment on from Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock.
*Cut layering panels for the front and inside from Curious Metallic Violette 111# cardstock.
*Cut a pierced ornate die cut frame, layering panels for the front and inside, and two sentiment die cuts from Curious Metallic White-Silver 111# cardstock.
*Stamp and die cut an assortment of flowers, buds and leaves on Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock.

*Adhere the front and inside violet panels to the white-silver layers.
*Adhere the white-silver frame and flowers, leaves and one bud to the front panel.
*Adhere the white ornate die cut and one bud to the inside panel.
*Adhere the two sentiment die cuts together, one on top of the other, for a little dimension.

*Adhere the die cut sentiment to the front panel. Stamp the remaining portion of the sentiment in purple ink on the scrap of white cardstock, trim it and adhere it just above the die cut.
*Stamp the inside sentiment in purple ink.

*Adhere the front and inside panels to the card base.
*Add three small iridescent gemstones to finish the card front. Voila, friendship card finished! 😉
