Organic Friendship Card
Hey everybody! Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday! Leslie here, sharing a fun friendship card consisting mainly of organic/free-form shaped images! This CAS card features our Cougar Smooth White, Pop Tone Black Licorice and Stardream Metallic Amethyst cardstock. AND one of my favorite purple and teal color combos! These stamps have been sitting on my desk for months and I’m not sure why I haven’t used them before now. This is truly one of the easiest cards I’ve ever made.
Cut Card Base and Layers
Cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base, front and inside layering panels, and an inside embellishing strip from Cougar Smooth White. Next, cut front and inside layering panels and an inside embellishing strip from Pop Tone Black Licorice. Round the bottom right corner of the card base and layers. Finally, cut an inside embellishing strip and punch three 3/4″ circles from Stardream Metallic Amethyst.
Add Focal Stamping and Circles
Stamp the free-form shaped images in purple, teal and black ink on the white cardstock panel. Add the punched circles in random areas, popping them up on foam pads.
Adhere Layers
Adhere the front and inside white cardstock layers to the black layering panels. Next, adhere the black, purple and white embellishing strips to the inside layer.
Add Sentiments
Stamp the front and inside sentiments in black ink on Cougar Smooth White cardstock scraps, and cut with coordinating dies. Adhere to the front and inside panels.
Complete Project
To finish the card, adhere the front and inside panels to the card base. Add a few clear iridescent gemstones to the card front.
