Happy Birthday Fall Colored Shaker Card!

Hey crafty friends! It’s getting close to my favorite season fall! I love every thing about fall the colors, smells, cozy sweaters, warm drinks. What is your favorite season?

I made this birthday shaker card with fall in mind. I used fall colors and also some gold leaf sequins.

I started by die cutting a piece of Pop-Tone in Orange Fizz down to 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ with a stitched edge die.

I then die cut a piece of Curious Metallic in Gold Leaf with a stitched edge rectangle a size smaller then the first rectangle. I also die cut some leaves out for my shaker windows. I also cut a piece of acetate the same size as the Curious Metallic in Gold Leaf card stock.

I die cut a “Happy Birthday” sentiment out of Gold Glitter card stock.

I added the acetate to the back side of the Curious Metallic in Gold Leaf rectangle. I glued the sentiment onto the gold card stock. I then add foam tape to add my sequins for the shaker card. I placed the sequins onto the orange card stock then lined the gold card stock with the foam tape and centered it onto the orange card stock.

I used orange, bronze, brown sequins mix. I was also able to find some gold leaves to add.
