Fall Celebrate Card

Do you love free SVG files? As a graphic designer, I love creating SVG files and I will be sharing projects and free SVG files with you.

Hi, I am Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it and this is my first post for the Cut Cardstock design team.

I am excited to share with you SVG cut files that I’ve created for each design team project here on Cut Cardstock.

The three beautiful cardstocks I am using for this card are Royal Sundance White Felt Card Stock, Textured Tan Discount Card Stock, and Stardream Metallic GOLD. The glimmer of the gold cardstock was the inspiration for this card and the cardstock I wanted to feature.

I cut the SVG files on a Cricut Maker. For each layer, I used the appropriate cardstock setting and added a bit more pressure. The Stardream Metallic GOLD cut well by setting it to posterboard due to its thickness.

Once the parts are cut and weeded, putting the card together is very easy. I have shared an alternative version with an additional cut for the sentiment. I altered the color of the tan linen cardstock with Distressed Oxide in Vintage ink.

The video above show you how I put the card together if you would like to watch the process.

To download the free SVG file you can access it at this link [celebrate card]. Additional details about using the file are included at the link.

I love the fall colors used to create this card, mainly because fall is my favorite season. I’d love for you to share your version with us in the comments below. Will you use a different color palette for your card? What are you celebrating? Let us know.
