Hi crafty friends! It’s Crystal and I’m loving these crisp cool mornings we are having here. I have been getting my kids to school and able to relax with my coffee in before I get to work. This card was inspired by the colors of all of the trees are starting to change now.

I started by die cutting a Gold Leaf card stock with a 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ stitched rectangle die for the base of the card.

For the second layer of the card I die cut a smaller stitched rectangle out of Hot Fudge card stock.

I wanted to add colored leafs to my paper so I took a piece of scrap paper and die cut leaves of different shapes and sizes. I trimmed a piece of Orange Fizz card stock a little bit smaller then my brown card stock. I then placed my card stock with the leaf openings over my Orange Fizz card stock. I taped it in place so it would not wiggle around. I used a ink blender tool and added a mix of red, orange and bronze to the leaf openings.

I layered the orange card stock over the brown card stock and wrapped some twine around the left side and tied a bow towards the top. I took this to layers and adhered them to the gold card stock with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment “Thank you” onto the orange card stock with a dark brown ink then die cut it out with a banner die.

I centered the sentiment banner side to side towards the bottom of the card and tucked it under the twine.

I’m really excited by the way it turned out. I think I was able to get all of the colors of fall onto a card.

Thanks for stopping by today! Do you have a favorite season? If you do what is it?
