Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a great week! I have to ask – are you in Christmas mode yet?! I’m always in Christmas mode and make cards and projects all year long! Leslie here, sharing a pretty Christmas wreath card featuring our Kale Green, Scottish Highlands Green and Tartan Red cardstock which I paired with my all-time favorite Neenah Classic Crest Solar White!

Die Cut and Assemble Holly and Sprig

I die cut the holly leaves and berries from Scottish Highlands Green and Tartan Red cardstock and assembled them. Next, I die cut the sprig from Kale Green and Tartan Red cardstock and assembled it.

Cut Card Base/Layers and Die Cut Wreath Foliage

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base and inside layering panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. Next, I cut a front layering panel and embellishing strip from a tartan patterned paper. Similarly, I cut an inside layering panel and thin embellishing strip from Kale Green cardstock. Finally, I die cut 16 pieces of foliage for the wreath and a round frame from Kale Green cardstock on which to build the wreath.

Assemble Wreath

I assembled the wreath by dividing the frame roughly into four sections. I kept adding the pieces until the wreath was full. Next, I adhered three sets of holly leaves and berries to the wreath and reserved the fourth one for the inside of the card. Finally, I adhered the sprig to the bottom center of the wreath along with a red ribbon bow.

Adhere Layers

I adhered the tartan layering panel to the card front. Next, I adhered the embellishing strips to the white inside layering panel and then adhered them to the dark green panel.

Add Sentiments

I die cut the first portion of the sentiment for the front of the card, and stamped the second portion and the inside sentiment in dark green ink.

Complete Project

I added small clear gemstones to the wreath. Next, I adhered the inside panel to the card base and then added the remaining holly leaves and berries which completed the project.
