Clean and Simple Floral Mini Slimline
Hey everybody! Spring has officially ‘sprung’ although our temps are still pretty cool out here in southwestern Colorado, so let’s kick it off with some pretty florals! Leslie here, sharing a clean and simple mini slimline featuring a focal element created with a variety of cardstock in our store. In addition to Neenah Classic Crest 110# and 80# Solar White, I used Bright Gold Foil and Pop Tone Cotton Candy, Pop Tone Jellybean Green and Pop Tone Gumdrop Green. I also used Stardream Metallic Azalea and Stardream Metallic Flame, as well as Basis Dark Orange and textured Kale Green and Mantis cardstock.

Create Focal Element and Cut Card Base and Layers
I die cut three frames from Bright Gold Foil cardstock. Next, I die cut the flowers petals from Pop Tone Cotton Candy and Stardream Metallic Azalea cardstock. Similarly, I die cut the flower centers from Stardream Metallic Flame and Basis Dark Orange cardstock. Finally, I die cut the leaves from Pop Tone Jellybean Green and Pop Tone Gumdrop Green, along with Kale Green and Mantis cardstock. Once all the pieces were die cut, I assembled the focal element.
I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White. Next, I die cut a front quilted layering panel and an inside layering panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White. Similarly, I cut an inside layering panel from Pop Tone Cotton Candy cardstock. Finally, I cut inside embellishing strips from Stardream Metallic Azalea and Bright Gold Foil cardstock, and die cut a front sentiment from Stardream Metallic Azalea.

Adhere Layers
I adhered the focal element to the front quilted panel. Next, I adhered the embellishing strips to the white inside layering panel and adhered it to the pink panel.

Add Sentiments
I adhered the die cut sentiment to the front quilted panel and a foiled sentiment to the inside panel.

Complete Project
I adhered the front quilted panel and inside panel to the card base, which completed the project.
