Interchangeable Football Wreath
Are you ready for some football? With a new month and the start of Fall, comes a new season of football! And, whether you are a fan of college, NFL or even pee wee football, this project might be for you. Even if you aren’t, I’m sure there’s a friend in your life who needs this decoration for their next tailgate!

I came up with this project after watching my husband cheering on so many different teams over the years. It was hard to keep up with all the jersey changes, ha ha!

This wreath allows you to change the team colors anytime you want. And it is a very inexpensive project too. I found the foam wreath at a local dollar store.
Here’s a look at how the wreath comes together:
As an Arizona gal, I used the following colors for my team helmets: Stardream Metallic Mars, Pop Tone Banana Split Yellow and Pop Tone Black Licorice. The football is made from Basis 80lb. White and Vanilla Bean Brown. The wreath colors are Canvas Textured Bonzai Green and the Basis White.
My cuts are some basic shapes available in the Cricut library. I did an offset on the basic helmet cut at a .15 measurement. The letters and numbers are die cuts with an offset shadow option for more color variation.

What I love about this wreath is the interchangeable helmets – a simple sticky-back velcro dot or two will allow you to change the helmets out, depending on the game or team!
I’ve strung some black and white twine behind one of the Bonzai Green pennants in order to hang my wreath. And, I was pretty excited to make the bow out of an assortment of black and white ribbons from my stash. This is, of course, the nod to the referee in the game!

What team will you be rooting for this season? Or will you choose a different sport for this project instead, like baseball? No matter who it is, I guarantee there is a perfect color choice for you in the CutCardStock paper selections. I’d love to hear from you below if there’s a sport you’ll be cheering for this year. And, let’s go team!
So COol!!!
Thank you!
