Add Glitter Cardstock for Bling!

Hello friends. I’m back sharing for CutCardStock today. Today is all about using Silver Glitter Cardstock for bling! I created this fun card with pops of color and glitter on a dark background.

Prepare the Die Cuts

Check out all the die cut goodness!

Use the Pink Fresh Frame Die and the Funky Nature Die from Sizzix to cut the frame, a few leaves and the flower centers from the Glitter Cardstock.

Cut an A2 panel using the DCS Indigo cardstock. trim to 5.25 x 4.0 inches. What a great color for the base to highlight the other die cuts!

Die cut a variety of leaves using DCS Bayleaf and DSC Kale Cardstock. Use Basis Gold Cardstock for the flower blooms. It appears the Bayleaf may be out of stock. Choose another light green cardstock so you have some variation in the colors. Die cut the flowers and assemble on the coordinating leaf bases.

Put it All Together

Decide where you are going to place the Glitter Cardstock Frame before adding any of the blooms. Use liquid glue to affix on the Indigo card base. Arrange the blooms so they fill up and hang over the Glitter Frame. Lay a stamping block on top to hold it all together until it dries. Mount the panel on an A2 110 lb. Cougar Cardstock base.

Choose a coordinating sentiment and heat emboss with Silver Embossing Powder. Trim down and layer with one or two more pieces of cardstock to pop it up.

I hope you will take a moment to peruse the CutCardStock website. They carry a great assortment of paper, cardstock and invitations! Their servace is excelent and each package is carefully wrapped.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! There is a video available covering the process. I’d love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and YouTube.  Be well. Be creative!
