Happy Easter Cross-Stitch Card

Easter is almost here! Can you believe it? Karen here with you today, and signs of Spring are all around us as the weather begins to warm up a bit. Baby chicks and birds are being hatched and flowers are blooming. The hummingbirds have returned to our feeders in the back yard. It’s always great fun to see new signs of Spring. And, CutCardStock has helped me to create this Happy Easter cross-stitch card to celebrate and welcome Spring and Easter.

This Easter card started with a piece of Astrobright Eclipse Black 80 lb Cardstock.  It is layered with a piece of Natural White 100 lb. Cardstock that I stenciled using various colors of oxide ink and a pretty stencil.  All you do is simply rub your oxide ink pad(s) with a blending brush, and then rub the inked brush over your stencil. This allowed me to add several pretty coordinating colors to my background. I’m really impressed with the quality of all the cardstock from CutCardStock.

For cross-stitch projects, this Natural White 100 lb. Cardstock is amazing.  It’s thick, sturdy and wonderful. That makes it perfect for cross-stitching and for using it as a card base. I also LOVE that we can always find a wide variety of beautiful colors to match any and every project.
