Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here, and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! I know I’ve asked this question before, but who needs a variety of birthday cards in their stash?! I love creating birthday cards, especially fun shaped birthdays cards that you don’t typically see! The card I’m sharing with you today is my own design and features more of the awesome Basis cardstock that’s on sale this month so be sure to add some more colors to your stash! How about a fun cafe sign with a little flower box?! Yessss… so let’s get started!

CUT:
*Cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Basis Natural 110# cardstock and cut a landscape rectangle out of the bottom to form the cafe sign legs.
*Cut front and back layers from Basis Teal 80# cardstock as well as three rectangular layers for the flower box and a layering panel for the inside.
*Cut a very narrow rectangular frame from Gold Glitter 74# cardstock.
*Cut a sentiment panel for the front and inside from Basis Aqua 80# cardstock.

STAMP & DIE CUT:
*Stamp a woodgrain design on the front and back panels and one flower box layer in dark teal ink.
*Stamp the sentiment on the smaller aqua panel in dark teal ink.
*Die cut two layers of grass from Basis Green 80# cardstock.
*Die cut sentiment from Basis Teal 80# cardstock.
*Die cut a variety of flower layers from Basis Dark Purple 80# cardstock and Basis Gold 80# cardstock, Basis Magenta 80# cardstock and Basis Pink 80# cardstock, Basis Blue 80# cardstock and Basis Medium Blue 80# cardstock, and Basis Dark Red 80# cardstock and Basis Red 80# cardstock, and adhere the layers together. Note: Only five of these flowers will be used on this card.

ASSEMBLE & COMPLETE CARD:
*Adhere the aqua sentiment panel to the top front of the card base and adhere the gold glitter frame around it.
*Adhere the three layers of the flower box together for a little dimension, adhere the two layers of grass to the back of the flower box, and adhere the piece across the bottom of the card base.
*Arrange the flowers on the grass and pop one up in front of the rest with a Darice Double-Sided Adhesive Foam Circle for a little interest. Add some leaves punched from Pop-Tone Gumdrop Green cardstock and Pop-Tone Jellybean Green cardstock – the leaves were an after-thought, as I felt the flowers looked kind of bare.
*Add a few iridescent gemstones to finish the card front. Super cute, huh?!

*Adhere the inside aqua panel to the teal panel, adhere to the inside of the card base, and add the die cut sentiment.
