Gift Card Envelopes | Raechelle Bellus

Hey y’all! having a large family provides ample opportunities to send a little cheer from time to time. These pretty gift card envelopes are going to be perfect to pass a gift card along and they are easy to make.

I used a die I picked up from Papertrey Ink at least a decade ago, and one which I haven’t used since about that time.

I used Basis Light Yellow Card Stock along with Basis Aqua Card Stock nd cut two sets of each envelope with my Big Shot.

I then grabbed coordinating floss and used three strands around each envelope. I started where I could adhere the first stich inside where the adhesive wouldn’t show.

Once the stitching is complete, you can tie off in the back with a small knot (I also added a spot of glue).

Now the fun part- adding patterned paper and embellishing! I used some Catherine Pooler 6×6 paper and dug into my die cuts and stickers to create these.

Adding twine at the top finishes them off. All in all, they came together quickly. The stitching was the most time consuming, but I find it easy to do while I’m watching TV.
