Summer is here and it is the season of weddings and anniversaries! You may find yourself invited to a special occasion like this, and if you do, this project will come in handy. It’s great to have ideas ready to go when you need them, and this is a card that comes together quickly but looks like a million bucks!

I’m using the shimmery metallics from CutCardStock in this project because their papers have such a luxurious quality and that’s just what a wedding or anniversary card deserves. Take a look at how the project comes together in this video tutorial:
The supplies I mentioned are both the Stardream Metallic Copper and the Classic Linen Gold Pearl paper, along with the Basis Natural card stock too. The additional supplies I mentioned include the Vintage Photo Distress Ink, some crystal flower embellishments and a sentiment. I’m also using both butterfly and flag dies to cut out my items.

The other nice quality of this paper is how sturdy it is. All the butterflies are holding their shape well, even after being put in an envelope. I notice it does the same thing with paper flowers as well.
Catch that shimmer in the light! The Stardream Metallic Copper is a rich color and reflects nicely. And I love the linen look in the lighter gold too.

I’d love to try using these in a cake topper for my next formal event – these papers would make a good cake topper for an anniversary party or wedding shower. What ideas do you have for these papers? I’d love to hear more from you in the comments below!

There are lots of gold and silver options out on the CutCardStock site – I hope you’ll take a moment to pin this idea on Pinterest too, and give this a try! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I’ll see you next time!
What a beautiful card!
Thank you!!
