Gold Cardstock Die Cuts to Make Your Layers POP
Hello friends! Posting today for CutCardstock. Let’s make our die cut card layers sing by adding Gold Layers.

This Gold Currency Cardstock is so pretty and easy to die cut!
Do the Die Cutting First
Start by die cutting Gold Currency Cardstock plus Cougar 100 lb White Cardstock with the Altenew Watercolor Stripes Die. Attach to an A2 cardbase created with Royal Fiber Kraft Cardstock. The gold cardstock is a great contrast to the gold cardstock.

There’s more die cutting to be done! The sentiment die Celebrate from Altenew is perfect for so many celebrations. Die cut the word in Gold Currency, Flamingo and Cougar Cardstock. Glue the layers together partially offset to show a hint of the color below. Use this order: Gold on top, followed by Flaming with White on the bottom. Set aside to dry.
Die Cut the Floral Images

Use the Altenew Craft A Flower Cosmos Die to create the central floral image. Check out how the gold adds just a pop of shiny interest to the flowers.
Cut the stems and leaves as well as the two-layer flower center from the Royal Sundance Kraft Cardstock. Run Marigold Distress ink over the smallest flower center and set aside.
Cut the floral pieces using Flamingo, Basis Coral, Bazzill Peach and Gold Currency. Use the Gold Currency for the third layer (the spiked layer).
Assemble the Card

Glue the floral layers together. Arrange the leaves and flowers on the A2 card base that has the Watercolor Striped Background already attached. Tip: When I create layers like this, I use a piece of Press and Seal from my kitchen to pick up and hold together the layers so I can glue them together from the back. Glue the pieces together. Pop up the central flower with some foam tape for dimension.
Attach the sentiment on top of the leaves and stem at a slight angle.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing how this multi layered card was created. Be sure to check out the great selection of cardstock available from CutCardStock. They have a great selection and shipping is so fast!
