Grunge Americana Card Design!
Hey everybody! America will celebrate Independence Day in about a month, so I came up with a super easy Americana card design in red, white and blue with grunge appeal! This 4th of July card uses Pop Tone Sweet Tooth and Pop Tone Wild Cherry cardstock with stamping of a grunge flag in blue ink, and would be great to mass produce if you’re one who sends out multiple cards every holiday. Our Pop Tone cardstock is on sale this month, so be sure to stock up – you can’t go wrong with the amazing colors to choose from!

Cut Card Base and Layering Panels
I cut a standard A2 size top-folding landscape card base, front and inside layering panels, and a die cut stitched square from Pop Tone Sweet Tooth cardstock. Next, I cut a layering panel, a square and two narrow embellishing strips for the inside from Pop Tone Wild Cherry cardstock.

Create Background and Focal Panel
I randomly stamped the grunge flag over the white cardstock layering panel in blue ink. Similarly, I stamped the flag once on the die cut square. I spritzed the stamped die cut square with iridescent silver mist to add a little shimmer.

Adhere Layers
The stamped panels and the inside panel with embellishing strips were then adhered to the red cardstock layering panels.

Add Stamped Sentiments
I stamped the front sentiment in red ink on the die cut square and heat embossed it in red embossing powder to make it stand out. I stamped the inside sentiment in blue ink.

Assemble and Complete Card
I adhered the die cut square to the background panel and then adhered them to the front of the card base. Next, I added several red gemstones. Finally, I adhered the inside panel which completed the card.
