Sparkly Mother’s Day Card
What do you give to the mother that has everything? Your love, of course, and a handmade sparkly card! My mom loves when I make her things and cards are her favorite thing to save. I created this floral sparkly card just for her!

This is a shared project in Cricut Design Space but I just changed a few things. I used Silver Glitter Cardstock for the sparkly swirl and to mat the sentiment banner. Even though it’s mostly hidden underneath the flowers, it still adds such a fun element to the card! I have to say, this glitter paper was the easiest glitter paper I have ever cut using my Cricut. Just select the glitter paper option and the cut is amazing! I was a bit nervous because of the fine lines of the swirls, but there were no problems!
I used Pop Tone Pink Lemonade for the large flower petals/layers. Before stacking the petals, I used a bone folder to help curl each petal and loosen the cardstock fibers a little to help it bend.

I also used a stylus tool to add score marks down the middle of the leaves to give them some dimension as well. The leaves were cut using Pop Tone Gumdrop. This is a fun green to use!

If you don’t have a quilling tool, you can use your fingers to roll the other two flowers, but it sure does make it easier! These two rolled flowers were cut with Pop Tone Bubblegum cardstock. I kept both flowers in the pink family since it’s my mom’s favorite color. You could definitely use a different color to add variety.
After matting the banner and adhering all these elements together on a fancy label base, I just adhered the whole thing on a prepared card base.

I know my mother will love it!
