This layered rainbow card was created a short while ago and it is perfect to post for CutCardStock before Valentines Day!

This card has seven heart layers made from a variety of colored cardstock. Cardstock used are Pop-Tone Grape Jelly, Discount Cardstock Calico Blue, Pop-Tone Berrylicious, Pop-Tone Limeade, Pop-Tone Orange Fizz, and Pop-Tone Razzleberry.

Cut the heart in the same spot on the different colors of cardstock. Line up the openings by leaving the die in the prior cut piece and making an impression by running it through the die cut machine. This allows me to line up the openings. Dry emboss the purple piece for interest.

Distress ink the base by blending in matching rainbow colors over a stencil on Cougar 80 lb. cardstock.

Heat emboss the sentiment in black on a piece of vellum from my stash and glued to the back of the purple piece. To assemble the card, I started with the stenciled piece, and attached the next image 1/4 inch to the right, lined up top and bottom. Continue until all the pieces are attached. I trimmed it down making sure the die cut is in the center. A few rainbow blings, and this card was ready to mount on an A2 card base!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’d love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!
