Do you love working with SVG files? As a graphic designer, I love creating SVG files, and I will be sharing projects and SVG files with you. Hi, I am Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it, and I have a floral file to share as a part of the CutCardStock design team.

Today I am using a floral SVG file to create an extra large card. You can adjust the file size for a smaller card if you desire or use it as is for a 5″ x 7″ card. The friend card uses blended ink and dimension to create depth.

I used Pop-Tone Card Stock in Razzleberry and Spearmint for the flower and leaves. And Stardream Metallic Card Stock in Gold for the stamen.

Above are all the parts I am using to make the card. The video below will show you how I used Distress Oxide to darken the edges and then add dimension to the pieces.

The SVG file for the floral friend card and a materials list can be found at: [friend card]

Hi, I am Janet. I am married to my husband Dan and we have two teenaged girls. Nowadays I work from home. I have always loved to create. As a child, one of my favorite things to do was talk my mom into a trip to the craft store. I took my love of art and craft and studied Graphic Design in college. Then I pursued an MFA in Graphic Design and an MS in New Media. I left a prosperous career as a college professor to raise our girls. Looking for a creative outlet, I started a website; Try it - Like it - Create it
