Poinsettia Gift Tags
Do you make your own gift tags for Christmas? This is a great opportunity to get creative on a smaller level.
Thanks to beautiful Basis Red, Pop Tone Jelly Bean Green, Rubber Ducky Yellow color cardstock, cutting poinsettia petals, stamen and leaves are easy to do with the Cricut. The precut 2×4 tags are a big timesaver and they come with twine too!

Stamping the leaves with a large background stamp and a similar color ink pad, gives them a beautiful and subtle look. I’m so glad I decided to do this with the leaves.
A rounding tool was used before adhering and stacking the two levels of petals to create some dimension. You could also use your fingers (my favorite tool) to bend the petals.

The leaves were glued directly on the tag with some of the points off the edge. Once the “to & from” were stamped, the layered flowers were glued down to the upper half of the tag. Look at all that dimension! So pretty!

This particular Cricut Design Space cut did not include the stamen, so I grabbed a punch that’s in my stash and punched some mini flower shapes. Honestly, I wasn’t sure which would work best, but I liked all of them! Add some yellow glitter glue to the centers because glitter is always a good thing. Especially around the holidays.

There you go! Beautiful easy handmade gift tags!

I hope you decide to give handmade tags a try. They sure do add something special to your wrapped gifts!
