Winter Birthday Cards

Hi crafty friends! I love winter themed cards. Now that we are in December, all of my cards will be winter-themed or Christmas. I love the look of a snowman on a card and lots of shimmer or sparkle. I made two cards for sharing today, which would be perfect for anyone who has a winter birthday.

I started by die cutting two stitched 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ rectangles out of Stardream Metallic in silver card stock.

I then die cut “Happy Birthday” out of Stardream Metallic card stock in Amethyst and Azalea.

I die cut two stitched circle out of Stardream Metallic card stock in Blue.

I die cut a snowman out of Crystal card stock. Then, I cut all of his accessories out of Stardream Metallic card stock.

Next, I die cut pieces for a penguin out of different colors of Stardream Metallic card stock.

I adhere the circle centered onto the rectangle card stock.

Then, I added some Stardream Metallic card stock in Crystal to the bottom for snow.

I adhered the penguin and snowman centered on the snow in the circle.

The last detail for both cards was to adhere the Happy to the top of the card and the Birthday to the card’s bottom.

Both cards came together super fast since it was all die-cutting. The thing that took the longest was assembling the snowman and penguin since there were so many small pieces.

Thanks for stopping by today!
