60th Anniversary Scrapbook Layout

Hey everyone! Angela back with a fun scrapbook layout for my grandparents 60th Anniversary. My grandparents have since passed- but made it to 67 years before my grandpa passed away in 2018 and then we lost my grandma last November. I really cherish these photos and am working on a heritage album as I go through all of the photos I ended up with when we cleaned their house out. This month our featured product is Basis Folded Cards– you can find these on sale currently.

I began with a Basis 4″ x 6″ Folded Card in Natural, along with a page protector from Echo Park, for my Simple Stories album.

Next I pulled out two photos of my grandparents. I pulled their wedding photo along with a photo taken on their 60th wedding anniversary. The wedding one I cut at 2 1/4″ x 3″ and the Anniversary one I cut at 4 1/4″ x 3″.

Next I cut a piece of Curious Metallic Peacock Teal cardstock at 3″ x 4″ and a piece of pattern paper from La-La Land Crafts at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4.

Next I cut a square tag die from My Creative Time and inked the tag as well as my pattern and cardstock above with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

Next I used my folded card and some of the coordinating pattern paper used prior to the inside of the card- cut at 5 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and adhered the pattern paper to the card.

Next I cut another piece of pattern paper from La-La Land Crafts (different collection) for my journal card. This was cut at 5 1/2″ x 2 3/4″. I used the same Distress Ink to ink the layers.

Next I cut a piece of the same pattern paper from the inside at 5 1/2″ and 3 1/4″ and a piece of Basis Black Cardstock at 5 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ and a strip of pattern matching the piece already used- 1/2″ x 3 1/4″. I then inked these layers. I then added the anniversary photo (not pictured here)

Next I cut a small half doily (from La-La Land Crafts) with the same Curious Metallic Peacock cardstock as used before.

Next I cut a 6 and 0 balloon (La-La Land Crafts) with some gold cardstock – this one was a scrap so unsure the name.

Next I added my folded card into the bottom of the page protector. This allows the photo from the front to be on the outside and the journal card on the inside and allows for some interaction to the album.

Next I cut another piece of Black Basis Cardstock at 3″ x 4″ and a piece of pattern paper from La-La Land Crafts at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4. I added the square tag behind the photo and then added the wedding photo.

The inside of the card- I have not decided what I want to say at this point, so I have not added any journaling as of yet.

And the finished page from my album. I love how this turned out, and love how this folded card allows some interaction to the layout.

I hope you enjoyed my layout and I can’t wait to continue on my album. I would love to hear your thoughts!

See you soon!
