Hello friends. I’m getting in the holiday mood. How about you? It’s Teri posting today and I’m featuring a Jolly Old Saint Nick holiday card. The cardstock is all supplied by CutCardStock.

Start with the Jolly Old Saint Nick Image
I love this vintage appearing image! The card started by stamping the Jolly Old Saint Nick image from Stampers Anonymous on Natural Cougar 80 lb. Cardstock, keeping the stamp in my stamp positioner to stamp a layer over the painted image. The image was painted with a variety of acrylic paints. The image looks quite messy after painting which is why you re-stamp over the painted image using permanent ink. I used archival ink.

Prepare the Frame and Base
The base is an A7 Cougar Natural Card Base topped with a Basis Dark Red 5 x 7″ cardstock. I used Royal Sundance Kraft Cardstock (my favorite Kraft) for the frame. Two layers provide stability and texture. After attaching the red base to the card, use your tape runner to attach the frame to the painted Jolly Old Saint Nick. Trim if needed and adhere to the card.
Stamp the additional pieces
Stamp the additional images (ticket and sentiment strips) on Kraft cardstock using Festive Berries Distress Ink. Frame the strips with Kraft cardstock, so they pop off the page. Use your tape runner to attach to the card.
