Autumn Ribbon Board

Here come all the Fall Projects! I have had this ribbon board in my .SVG collection for the longest, and I am so happy to be sharing my take on it, with you. This is also from svgcuts.com, an older collection, but still so much fun to play it. You can customize it to go with anything, for any occasion. I chose to create an Autumn Ribbon Board.

Cardstock for Ribbon Board:

I chose, as my main colors Dark Orange, Basis Brown, Metallic Gold, and Marrisparkle Gold. I used them randomly throughout this project, as I went I also used some Cougar White and Basis Red.

Mixed Media Element:

Using the Cougar White, I created my mixed media element for the background. I combined an Iridescent texture paste with 2 different colors of Art crayons. I used a red, and pushed it though a leaf stencil, then I used an orange and pushed that through a pumpkin stencil in a different area of the background. Set this aside and allow it to completely dry. After it was dry I laid it under a big stack of cardstock overnight, so it was flattened out before cutting.

Assembling Autumn Ribbon Board:

While my background was drying and flattening, I cut out all the pieces. I used some patterned paper from an older Echo Park Collection. Creating some leaves, tickets, a tabbed photo mat, pumpkin, the “ribbons” and pulled out some brads to adhere the “ribbon” to the board. Once I had all this assembled and situated, I stash dived and pulled out some fun embellishments to finish it off.

Final Touches:

I created an owl shaker from ClearScraps, used some pumpkin flair and cut apart words from ScrappinHappy Studio, and Late Summer Thoughts sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps.

I hope you found some inspiration from this project! I can’t wait to share my next Fall Project with you. I don’t know yet what that is, but it’s going to be Fall so it will 100% be awesome!
