3D Teapot Purse Party Favor

I have two little girls, and after all things “boy” from my older sons, it has taken some getting used to with all the pink and bows and dresses. But I love it! I wanted to make a fun tea party favor that had dimension and could hold some treats or a candy necklace. When I found this design, I knew it would be perfect! Check out how to make it:

Supplies Needed

Pop Tone Cardstock in the color Grape Jelly
Curious Metallic Cardstock in Gold Leaf
Curious Metallic Cardstock in White Silver
Tombow adhesive
foam adhesive squares
-die cutting machine

To begin, I cut out my design with my Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine. I chose a fun purple cardstock because I knew my daughter would love it. The design is found in the Online Silhouette Design Store by the artist Sweet Afton.

I began by folding along all the perforated lines.

Next, I took my favorite Tombow adhesive and added some glue to the tab on the teapot spout.

Then I adhered the spout piece onto the side of the assembled box.

Repeat for the handle on the other side.

The tab on top holds the purse together to keep all the treats safe!

Next, I used some foam adhesive squares and placed a few on my gold circle embellishment.

I added more foam squares to the decorative silver piece.

Place both pieces together and then onto the purse to add a dimensional embellishment.

And then it’s done! Fill it with lip gloss, candy necklaces, chocolate kisses, and you’ve got yourself the perfect girly tea party favor!

Don’t forget to check out all the beautiful gold and silver cardstock that’s on sale this month! Happy creating!
