Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! I am so stoked to be a new CutCardStock DT member – this is another dream come true for this old gal! I have an inspiration project to share today that I think you’re really going to love… we all need get well cards in our stash, right?! And this is such a cheerful design!

So let’s get started. I created an A2 sized card base from Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and rounded the bottom right corner. I cut a panel about 1/16″ smaller than the card base from green and white gingham patterned paper, rounded the bottom right corner, and adhered it to the front of the card base. Then I stamped the sentiment in black ink toward the top, leaving plenty of room to arrange the flowers.

I created the flower layers from Curious Metallic Pale Aloe cardstock, Curious Metallic Pink Quartz cardstock, and Curious Metallic White-Silver cardstock, and the leaves from Basis Green cardstock. I stamped all the pieces in ink first, then stamped over top the ink in Versamark, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give them a little shine. I die cut the pieces with coordinating dies and assembled the flowers, adhering the layers and leaves with 1/4″ Scor-Tape. I added an iridescent gemstone to each and then arranged them on the front of the card base, adhering with Double-sided foam adhesive strips.

For the inside, I cut a strip of the green and white gingham patterned paper and a very narrow strip of the Curious Metallic Pink Quartz cardstock and adhered them on the left side, then stamped the sentiment in black ink.
