Embossing Folder Happy Easter Card

Hi crafty friends! I’m ready for spring I can’t wait to start planting flowers and enjoy some warm weather. Today I have a fast and easy Easter card to share.

I started by Die cutting a piece of Curious Metallic Aquamarine Blue card stock with a double stitched rectangle die about 4″ X 5 1/4″. After I die cut the rectangle out I ran it through my die cutting machine with an embossing folder.

To help the embossing stand out I colored the leaves with green and the center of the flowers yellow with alcohol markers.

I stamped “Happy Easter” onto Curious Metallic Poison Ivory trimmed to fit the sentiment. I die cut the strip with the same double stitched die I used previously just to get the stitching on the sides.

I adhered the embossed panel to a 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ card base with foam tape. I adhered the sentiment strip to the embossed card stock with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by today!
