Hannah, here, from Fanciful Spaces! Today I’m bringing a clean and simple, quick and easy, card for the men in your lives!
Valentine’s day is coming up, and creating cards for the men in our lives can be difficult. The masculine style is hugely different from the bulk of our card crafting styles. This card, which can be created in a flash, would be perfect for your loved one. It would also make a perfect birthday card!
I started with Cut Cardstock’s Stardream Metallic Cardstock. Let me say, right here, that I’m a sucker for anything shimmery and shiny and this cardstock doesn’t disappoint! I love the heavy weight of it, it pairs perfectly with the Basis Cardstock in 110lb which is my favorite card base.
I cut my card base out of the Basis 110lb White Cardstock, an A2 sized panel out of the Stardream Metallic Quartz cardstock. I needed just a small amount of the Stardream Metallic Silver, Gold, and Flame cardstocks as well; great for using scraps!
The beauty of CAS cards is that they don’t require a lot of tools. Sometimes simple is best!
The fun part of my “dude” die is that it is intended for the top die to nestle, centered, over the base. BUT, you can create something really fun and unexpected by intentionally positioning the top layer off centered!
