Sparkly New Year’s Eve Treat Box

New Year’s Eve is always such a fun time for celebration. It’s that last “hurrah” to end the busy holiday season and start a fresh, new year. Here’s a simple treat box you can make for your guests to ring in a new year!

Supplies:
Basis Cardstock in Black
Glitter Cardstock in Gold
Basis Cardstock in White
Tombow Dual Adhesive
Foam Adhesive Squares
-Brads
-Ribbon

To begin, I cut out my box shape with my Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine. The box shape was found in the Online Silhouette Design Store by Lori Whitlock.

Next, I cut out squares from the glitter cardstock that would fit the sides of the box perfectly. Then I glued those pieces onto each side of the box.

Then I printed the year “2020” onto white cardstock and cut it out to fit the box. I attached two metal brads to add some flare!

Using the foam adhesive squares, I adhered the “2020” onto the box.

Then I took some of my favorite Tombow adhesive and adhered the box tabs together.

Now all that’s left is to fill your treat boxes with candy and tie them up with some festive ribbon or twine!

These would look so cute placed in a row on a gold tray, or by the door where guests can take one as they leave.

Party favors don’t have to be complicated to wow guests. All it takes is some great paper and a little glue, and you’re off to having a sparkly new year!

Happy New Year!
