It’s Pumpkin Time

It’s pumpkin time here in the midwest. I created a card in honor of all the local pumpkin patches. It can be used for birthday, thinking of you or just to welcome spring.

I cut a piece of Cougar White Super Smooth to 2.75″ x 4″, stamped the image and colored it with colored pencils. I love how smooth the paper is, and it is easy to color on.

Then I used PopTone papers for most of the card. I used PopTones Hot Fudge (5.5″ x 8.5″ for the base and 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″) for the first layer. Then PopTones Tangy Orange (3″ x 4.25″), PopTones JellyBean Green (3.25″ x 4.5″), Stardream Metallic Fine Gold (3.5″ x 4.75″).

I used a corner rounder to add more detail to the corners and then layered the pieces.
I die cut leaves from the PopTones Tangy Orange and JellyBean Green. Some leaves were also die cut from Basis Gold cardstock. I crinkled the leaves up, then inked the leaves with Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Forest Moss.
Next I attached three leaves to the front of the card. Then I added a piece of twine to the leaves. A few leaves were attached inside the card.

Thanks for stopping by today. Check out CutCardStock.com for all these papers and more.
